Save values without formulas

The following example shows you how to produce a values-only workbook. When setRemoveFormulas(true) is set, the formula of every successfully calculated cell is removed and only the calculated value is kept, so the recipient cannot see the formulas behind the numbers.

            session.getOptions().setRemoveFormulas(true);

            book.save("c:\\test\\values-only.xlsx", true);
        }
        catch (Exception e)
        {
            System.out.println(e.getMessage());
            e.printStackTrace();
        }
    }
}
